  Description: Presented by the Calliope Songwriters’ Circle, and benefits "The Appalachia Project". This concert includes performances by several local songwriting artists who are featured on the 2007 Pittsburgh Songwriters CD. These performances are of the Adult Contemporary mixed genre, meant to entertain audiences of all ages. Artists include: George Salamacha and Nancy Deckant with Red Moon Run, Sue Gartland, John Hayes, Cathy Stewart, Jack Knight & The Unsung Heroes, Bruce Hoffman, Howard Davidson, Peter Donovan, Mark Muretisch, Rick Bruening, and other local talents. The entire price of the ticket goes towards the cost of room and board for student volunteers who work with The Appalachia Project based out of Kingwood, West Virginia. This charity project carries out repairs and upgrades to properties of aged and infirmed residents of Kingwood and the surrounding area. Suggested admission donation is $7.50 at the door.
