Colorado Funny State Slogan:
Spotted Owl - It's What's For Dinner
~~~~~
You might be from Oregon if...
Every day is casual Friday.
You throw an aluminum can in the trash and feel guilty.
You know what "sun breaks" are.
You never go camping without water-proof matches and ponchos.
You design your kids' Halloween costumes to fit under raincoats.
You think people who use umbrellas are wimps.
You know more people who own boats than air conditioners.
You know more than 10 words to describe a cup of coffee.
You have at least 10 shirts and hats with the names of breweries or pubs printed on them.
At least two family members work for Intel or Nike, or used to work for Tektronix.
Oregon, My Oregon
Written by J.A. Buchanan and Henry B. Murtahg
Land of the empire builders, land of the golden west;
Conquered and held by free men, fairest and the best.
Onward and upward ever, forward and on and on;
Hail to thee, land of Heros, my Oregon.
Land of the rose and sunshine, land of the summer's breeze;
Laden with health and vigor, fresh from the Western seas.
Blest by the blood of martyrs, land of the setting sun;
Hail to thee, land of Promise, my Oregon.
